Isolated Thundershowers! :-)

Many a time we have heard the "Isolated thunderstorm" weather forecast. To put it in tamil,

சென்னையிலும் அதன் சுற்றுபுரங்களிலும் அங்கங்கே மழையோ அல்லது இடியுடன் கூடிய மழையோ பேயும்...!!

Sunset in Honeymoon Island

The Sunset at a beach is every photographer's dream. I'm getting to live it in Florida, the Sunshine state with all the beautiful beaches around me. This series was captured one such weekend at the Honeymoon Island State park, Tampa Bay Area, Florida.

The last one is one of my personal favourites. Although the sun is not visible in the frame, the blend of colors is exhilarating!!

A shot at macro photography

Have never used the macro mode before in my Canon S5 IS. This is the first ever try and I suppose that I has come out good. This picture was shot just outside the Ripley's Believe it or not Museum in the Old city of St. Augustine.

Travelogue...

For the past couple of weeks I have been doing frantic tours around Florida.

First, I went on a East Florida Trip - St. Augustine, Jacksonville and Daytona beach with a gang of 12 people for 2 days.

Second, I went on a South Florida Trip to Everglades, Homestead, Miami and Key west with a gang of 5 people for 3 days.

I had a wonderful time. Being the lazy bum that I am, the travelogue is saved for later. But, I have uploaded close to a thousand photos in Picasa. Here are a few samples for your eyes!
